Job Description

Provides direct patient care, including first aid and emergency management according to Medical Directives. Provides excellent customer care. Safely administers OTC medication. Completes thorough documentation and communication. Accurately administers drug and alcohol screenings. Assists with tracking, stocking and organizing of supplies. Communicates with charge nurse and Medical Supervisor. Performs Worker's Compensation tasks as delegated by RN/Medical Supervisor.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

  • Completes annual competencies, continuing education and maintains mandatory certifications such as CPR and licensure. Attends one off-site education or conference annually in leadership or area of specialty. Independently seeks professional development.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to employees and potential employees. Ensures that all medical tasks and procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Keeps charge nurse and Medical Supervisor aware of issues as they arise.
  • Initiates Incident investigations and schedules follow up visits as needed. Communicates with safety and management.
  • Assists with projects as delegated by Medical Supervisor.
  • Accurately administers drug and alcohol testing programs.
Educations/Experience Requirements
  • EMT or Medical Assistant training
  • 2+ years in field.
  • National Certifications encouraged.
