Media Data Manager


Job Details

Fuse Media is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Media Data Manager with a strong background in data analysis, market trends and media consumption patterns. This position will serve as a key contributor to the Research department, leading the teams efforts to collect and validate data across FAST and digital platforms. This position reports to the Director of Research as well as the Head of the department, and will be based in Glendale, CA. We practice a hybrid work model, with several in-office workdays required.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manage FAST platforms analytic data, including data management and automation.
  • Oversee Whip Media onboarding and vendor management processes.
  • Aggregate data from various sources including Fuse+, VOD, FAST channels, and subscription services; manage related analytics.
  • Serve as the key liaison with internal developer for data-related projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee analytics and communicate specific reporting needs across AVOD and SVOD platforms (i.e., tagging, data QA, dashboard usability, etc.).
  • Work with the Digital Distribution Manager to flag and remedy data discrepancies.
  • Upload FAST channel data across all platforms and dashboards.
  • Maintain FAST & digital databases and title libraries, working with key stakeholders to automate and ensure accuracy
  • Research data management solutions and data aggregator products in the marketplace
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new research tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data reporting.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on data from analytic platforms to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Project manage data-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolution with internal digital team and external FAST analytic systems


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years experience with analytics and data management in media research, market research, or related field; understanding of TV and the digital media landscape preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in related field or an equivalent combination of skills, training and hands-on experience.
  • Working knowledge of digital research platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amagi, Cleeng, JW Player). Familiarity with Nielsen, Comscore TV, and WhipMedia a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation tools strongly preferred.
  • An expert in Excel (able to manipulate large data sets, use advanced formulas, and run macros).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative problem-solver and ability to work well in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


SALARY RANGE

$75,000 - $95,000 annually (DOE)
