Patton LLC is a leading provider of manufacturing services to a variety of industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Setup and Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, punch presses, and saws
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure product accuracy
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the layout of sheet metal parts and components
- Perform quality inspections to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or problems that arise during the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with other team members to improve product design and manufacturing processes
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in sheet metal fabrication preferred
- Experience with Strippit Punch Press and/or Amada Press Brake preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly
- Proficient in the use of sheet metal fabrication equipment and measuring instruments
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines
- Physical ability to lift and move sheet metal products and equipment as needed
