We currently have a great opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst for our Los Angeles office. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Firm s financial statement and reports, creating ad hoc financial analyses and models, owning the planning and budgeting process, and contributing towards delivering useful and timely information to the Firm s leaders and decision-makers. This position is also responsible for providing accounting support to the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.

What You'll Do

  • Own the annual firm-wide budget process and prepare monthly variance analysis for differences between the budgeted and actual results.
  • Prepare and distribute the weekly and monthly financial reporting packages including KPI reporting (Average Realization, Customer Concentration, Rate Billing, and Productivity reports).
  • Develop ad hoc analyses utilizing financial modeling and data analysis skills in addition to responding to various ad hoc financial reporting requests.
  • Update financial models as necessary.
  • Support the month-end close financial accounting process as needed.

Requirements

A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.

Minimum 3 years of experience.

Ability to develop complicated financial analyses; discern trends and communicate the meaning of financial data to executives and users; define problems, research data, draw conclusions, concisely present recommendations and be willing to ask questions.

Experience using Aderant EA software or other legal firm financial and practice management software is highly preferred.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this position is $95,000 - $105,000, dependent upon experience and other relevant factors. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision as well as 401(k) and vacation/personal time.
