This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager in the millwork/custom woodworking manufacturing world! This role is all about overseeing daily operations for a growing company that works in multifamily, hospitality, and commercial markets.
What you'll do:
- Oversee all daily operations of the millwork shop, from production planning to quality control.
- Lead and mentor a team, offering support and guidance to optimize performance and morale.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, and contractors.
- Implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets to optimize profitability.
- Solve complex millwork-related problems and make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
What we re looking for:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in architectural millwork manufacturing/custom woodworking (or similar)
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Wood Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Solid business and management skills (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, etc)
- Great knowledge of millwork materials, drawings and processes
- Top-notch leadership and people skills
- Ability to work with vendors, customers, and ownership
