Project Accountant Role in Waukesha County

We are partnering with a regional construction company that is looking for a new Project Accountant to join the team. The company has gone through some restructuring due to growth, which has led to this position being newly created. With the company growth, this position can also see growth both in terms of new tasks and also moving up the ladder to management quickly.


Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with project managers to determine billing and POC
  • Reviewing monthly general ledger accounts
  • Provide support to collections team
  • Assist in year end reporting and account requirements
  • Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to AR and AP
  • Provide support for other accounting functions when needed


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Construction/Contracting Company experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learning skills
  • Organization and attention to detail
