As the Senior Contracts Counsel, you will be a key member of the legal team, responsible for managing a wide range of commercial transactions and contracts critical to our business operations. Leveraging your expertise in commercial law and contract negotiation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the procurement, sales, vendor, customer, product development, and service agreements.


The Senior Contracts Counsel will:

  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of a variety of commercial agreements, including procurement contracts, sales agreements, vendor contracts, customer agreements, product development agreements, and service agreements. Ensure that contracts are aligned with company policies, objectives, and legal requirements.
  • Identify and assess legal and commercial risks associated with proposed contracts and transactions. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests while fostering mutually beneficial relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in all contractual agreements. Stay abreast of legal developments and best practices relevant to commercial transactions and contracts, advising internal stakeholders on potential impacts and implications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, finance, and operations, to support business objectives and facilitate successful contract negotiations. Provide legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.


The Senior Contracts Counsel must have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on commercial transactions and contracts.
  • Strong background in negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements, including procurement, sales, vendor, customer, product development, and service agreements.
  • Environmental law experience is preferred, but not required.
