**Warehouse Forklift**
Mansfield, MA, United States Full Time Permanent req82546 Kuehne+Nagel is looking for a Forklift Operator who is dependable, safety focused, and enjoys working in a team environment!** Your Role**
This is a cross-functional role within Logistics including but not limited to receiving, put away, pick and pack, recording of shipment data, weight, charges, shipping, and space availability. May be required to use basic hand and power tools, computers, and material handling equipment.** Your Responsibilities**
Responsible for supporting and meeting KN and/or customer KPIs within sphere of responsibility.
Awareness of and adherence to QSHE programs.
Conduct Pre and Post audits of MHE & document deficiencies while using and inform appropriate area of responsibility
Use material handling (MH) equipment to load and unload designated trailers per SOP (Sit Downs ONLY)
Adherence to Dock Safety: Two Wheel Chocks are required to be placed under the rear wheelsAND verified by all MHE Operators in accordance to SOP
Use MHE to move and store materials within the warehouse such as racking, dockboards, etc. (Order Pickers & Reaches ONLY)
Use MHE to pull orders from the racking per SOP (Reach ONLY)
Use MHE to pick, verify and pack orders according to SOP (Order Picker ONLY)
Ability to meet attendance requirements and work overtime as required achieving customer metrics.
The ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.
Participate in KN Care
Will perform other job tasks, as assigned.
** Your Skills and Experiences**
EDUCATION: HS Diploma or GED
LANGUAGE: English fluency (reading, writing, communication)
MHE - Certification as a forklift operator
EXPERIENCE: 2-3 demonstrated years experience on reach and order picker
Strong work ethic and team player.
Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
High degree of professionalism. Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
Basic computer knowledge (typing, ability to use a mouse, basic computer navigation, etc.)
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
