Pay Scale: $17.00 per hour with the potential for commission opportunities that can range from $0.00 to no upper limit.

Position Overview

Our Online Sales Consultants interact with up to hundreds of customers per month and assist to guide them through the purchase process by responding to leads in a timely fashion, providing accurate information, answering any and all questions, setting appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. Exceptional communication and listening skills are a must. This position requires the ability to effectively select the perfect vehicle, negotiate the payment options that meet our customer's budget and expectations, and close deals. Our Online Sales Consultants are expected to provide an exceptional online experience as well as in-person experiences that will drive closing ratios upwards, increase customer loyalty and referrals, and assist the transition from a Sales customer to a Service customer. Earning and maintaining a high CSI Score is an expectation, and requirement, of this position.

Requirements for this job

* Prior and proven Automotive Retail Internet Sales Experience. If you do not have prior Internet Sales experience, please consider joining our Sales team where there is the potential of one day growing into a member of our Internet team. Experience is everything.

* Proven ability to provide exceptional customer experience.

* Earning and maintaining a CSI score that is above our Chevrolet Zone score as reported monthly by Chevrolet.

* Selling a minimum of 10 New Chevrolet or Used vehicles per month.

* Demonstrated communication and organizational skills through the use of technology, such as CRM systems, mobile, and operating systems.

* Willingness and ability to learn and follow our successful sales process.

* The willingness and desire to work as a team, assist where needed, learn, and fit within our company values.

* Valid and current California Occupational Sales License as required by the state of California.

* Ability to work weekends and Holidays per the Team work schedule. Five day work week. Days off are Monday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Thursday.

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Valid in-state driver's license and acceptable, safe, driving record.

* Reliable transportation, or means of transportation, that will ensure you are able to meet your work schedule responsibilities.

* Ability to take, and pass, a drug screening test.
