Job Details

A Procurement Manager on a software procurement team is responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process for software products and services. This includes: Identifying the software needs of the organization and determining the best solutions to meet those needs.

Developing and implementing procurement strategies and processes to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of software products and services.

Negotiating contracts and agreements with software vendors and suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions for the organization.

Managing relationships with software vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services, and to address any issues or concerns that may arise.

Monitoring and evaluating the performance of software vendors and suppliers to ensure that they are meeting the organizations needs and expectations.

Collaborating with other members of the procurement team, as well as with other departments within the organization, to ensure that the software procurement process is aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
