Job Details
Under general supervision, repairs and maintains plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment. Performs minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs and installations. Performs routine maintenance and adjustments on kitchen and boiler equipment. Completes preventive maintenance, tests and inspections on assigned equipment according to established schedules, and maintains related records and logs. Leads and oversees work of assigned employees and client work crews, and monitors work performed by outside contractors. Job Requirements: Ability to repair and install equipment and machinery; basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration and heating trades; and ability to read and understand schematics and operating manuals, at a level normally acquired through completion of high school, and up to one year technical or vocational training in high school or beyond.
