About Job:

Our Client is seeking estimators at all experience levels, and an ideal candidate will have experience interpreting plans, project management, performing take-offs, and tabulating sub-bids. Estimators are responsible for preparing complete estimates for construction projects under their supervisor's guidance, which includes quantity surveying, pricing, bid solicitation, compiling cost histories, and preparing system comparisons and cost analysis reports. This role typically reports to the senior estimator at the assigned location.

Location: Denver, Colorado

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quantity surveying, pricing, bid solicitation, cost history compilation, and system comparisons
  • Think creatively and meet deadlines effectively
  • Conduct constructability reviews and identify project risks
  • Coordinate subcontractor and vendor solicitation
  • Assist with Supply Chain procurement planning
  • Generate and adjust schematic estimates based on historical data and project conditions
  • Prepare cost analysis reports
  • Review owner contracts and conditions with risk management
  • Analyze various systems and related cost impacts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: Industry-related college degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • Experience: 1-6 years in construction estimating, preferably experience with commercial and aviation projects
  • Skills: Strong schematic estimating skills, project scheduling from drawings, professional communication, organizational skills, quick creative thinking, and leadership abilities
  • Technology: Familiarity with On Screen Takeoff, WinEst, Bluebeam, Revit, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
