Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our team in Warren, Cherry Hill or Wall, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some experience who are passionate about environmental protection and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the environmental permitting process for various projects, under the guidance of senior staff members.
- Conduct research on local, state, and federal regulations to support permit applications and compliance efforts.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of permit applications, environmental assessments, and compliance documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant project data and information for permitting requirements.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process.
- Support the monitoring of permit conditions and deadlines and assist in compliance reporting efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to collaborate and learn from experienced professionals.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with GIS software and environmental modeling tools is a plus.
- Frequent travel and/or field work to our clients sites. (Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation required)
- Ability and willingness to support various groups and manage a variety of parallel tasks.
