Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Details

Responsibilities: Coordinate trucks delivering and picking up materials.

• Ship outbound and receive inbound loads.


• Code receivables in SAP system.


• Complete transfers from incoming materials properly in system.


• Stock checks.


• Deliver materials throughout plant as needed upon arrival on dock.


• Understand how to read and comprehend POs and how they affect the operational process.


• Communicate professionally and effectively with drivers and all customers, internal and external.


• Thorough understanding of BOLs and the effect on organizational success.


• Willing to work reasonable overtime as needed.


• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.


• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing warehouse environment.


• Attention to detail and able to prioritize quickly, and comfortable making judgement calls.


• Office skills such as courteous phone etiquette, Microsoft Office, professional email communications, filing, make labels, etc. (SAP experience preferred).


• Ability to safely operate a forklift and assist on the floor when needed.


• Self-directed team player


• CDL preferred
