About the role
We have an exciting opportunity at our Stuttgart, Arkansas manufacturing facility for someone with a passion for manufacturing and leadership. The Manager of Production will lead a team of supervisors to meet daily production goals without compromising safety or quality. This role will also develop long term strategies to improve safety, quality, and efficiency results.
What Youll Do
- Coach a team of supervisors to create a work environment that is safe and demonstrates our values of integrity, respect, and excellence.
- Connect and build relationships with shop floor employees and maintain an open-door policy.
- Determine daily staffing changes to meet production goals.
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership of areas of responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Leverage delegation skills to manage a wide range of priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in a cross-functional team environment with production planning, safety, quality, engineering, and other stakeholders to achieve facility objectives.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 years of leadership experience
Top candidates will also have:
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience leveraging lean and/or Six-Sigma tools.
- HVAC experience
- Experience in a large, 24/7 manufacturing operation.
