**Description**

A Customer Service Representative with excellent communication and customer service skills is needed to provide a high level of support to Struers external and internal customers. Struers is the world's leading manufacturer of material-testing equipment and consumables. Customers include fortune 500 companies in the automotive, electronics, telecom and aerospace industries.

The candidate will work closely with sales, logistics, and finance to provide customers and staff with timely and accurate support. The incumbent will report to our Customer Service Manager and will work from our US headquarters in Westlake, Ohio, with some flexibility to work remotely during the pandemic.

The ideal Customer Service Representative will exhibit a proactive approach to daily activities understanding both internal and external customer needs. This highly adaptable team player will demonstrate good problem solving and data entry skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage his/her time and workload.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Answer incoming Struers phone calls promptly and professionally.

* Enter all incoming orders and dollar/return credits timely and accurately via the ERP system.

* Timely and accurately enter all shipping issues in CRM system.

* Process and follow-up on inquiries, resolve problems, expedite orders as requested by customers and sales representatives.

* Administrative processing of invoices, shipping information and Docuware.

* Prepare requests such as customer quotations, letters, sample requests, MSDS requests as assigned by the Manager.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of four (4) years related customer service/administrative assistant experience.

* Must be detailed oriented and be able to prioritize multiple tasks

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

* Excellent grammar and writing skills

* Prior experience in SAP, Oracle, etc. preferred.

* PC skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Typing skills of 50-60 w.p.m. and good data entry skills.

* Sales support background preferred

* Strong PC Skills include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

* High school graduate, some college preferred

* General understanding of B2B/EDI distribution preferred
