Whether you work in our Charlotte plant to build life-saving stop arms for school buses, or design advanced camera vision products in our Vancouver office, forge valves and high-quality nozzles to fight fires, or dream up new ways to protect fleet operators in our Corporate HQ in Kansas City, youll contribute to our goal to keep everyone safe.
As our **Material Handler**, you will be responsible for handling and processing all types of material received and shipped out of the warehouse; be responsible for ensuring that materials are placed in their proper location and are available for use when needed; while accurately processing paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy.
**You will**
* Pick, pack and process shipments
* Receive incoming material and verify for accuracy
* Assemble, count, weigh or measure items and complete appropriate paperwork
* Palletize, stack, place and arrange items in storage locations with consideration of their size, shape, weight, quantity, type, stock number and other storage factors
* Process material and inventory transfers
* Kit work orders for assembly/ production
* Assist the teams with preparation for conducting physical inventory / cycle counts while conducting daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
**?This is a full-time regular position, 40 hours per week.**

**Requirements**
**?You should have**
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment
* Familiarity in UPS and FedEx shipping systems
* Forklift Certification Preferred
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
* Ability to handle high volume of work
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well within a team environment
