Mechanical Technician
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Shelby team!
As our Mechanical Technician you will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. You will also assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Your Challenge
- Selects the designs, methods, materials and equipment required.
- Plans the methods and procedures required for fabricating, assembling, installing and testing a variety of experimental components, materials, apparatus and equipment.
- Implementing and maintaining programs, assembly documentation, routings and processes used in the fabrication of complex products
- Make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new and existing processes.
- Interface with team to coordinate new product release to production.
What You Bring- High School or equivalent required.
- 2-5 years' experience of repair and overhaul of parts in aerospace industry, including hydraulics, highly preferred.
- Excellent manual dexterity with knowledge of basic hand tools, disassembly and assembly practices, and test and inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and detailed work instructions.
- Ability to be productive and complete quality work in an independent work environment.
