Description

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
  • Ensure the integrity of the food served
  • Complete assigned side work at the beginning and end of every shift
  • Comply with Company standard portions, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, recipes, policies and procedures
  • Responsible for notifying management of low product
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
  • Handle, store, label, and rotate all product properly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior related work experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to read and follow recipes unsupervised
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. and push up to 250 lbs., as needed
  • Work may be required in confined area
  • Ability to be flexible with hours
