Our client, is North America s leading distributor across residential, non-residential, new construction, and many other markets, is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Associate, you will be part of the Industrial Department supporting the HDPE industry. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Washougal, WA
Pay Range: Starting at $22 per hour, with potential increase depending on experience
What s the Job?
- Sawing and fabricating all sizes of plastic pipe fittings and structures
- Operating hand and hydraulic fusion welding equipment and various hand tools
- Lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more as needed
- Holding and maneuvering extrusion welders for long periods
- Reading tape measures and converting feet into inches
What s Needed?
- Some construction or mechanical experience
- Blueprint reading preferred
- General computer skills preferred
- Ability to lift, load, and maneuver pipe and fittings
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
