POSITION SUMMARY
An international automotive supplier has an exciting opportunity for a Material Planner, the person will be responsible for shipping planning (customer orders monitoring and shipping schedule of parts) and delivery process (shipping labels and ASN transmission).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
System
- Monitoring and update the operation system (SAP)
- Input data into SAP (inventory and delivery)
- Prepared and update transaction records
- Inform any discrepancies in the system
Warehouse (Shipping and Delivery)
- Receive and monitor customer orders of material requirements (productive and service parts)
- Verify inventory according to shipping customer schedule and notify discrepancy to Logistic Contacts in Mexican facilities
- Coordinate shipping process (creation of Shipping Orders and print Shipping Labels)
- Assure service parts preparation (package and label according to specific customer requirements
- Transmit Advance Shipping Notification (ASN) to customers
- Record delivery failures and resolve issues by warehouse responsibility

- Inventory Documentation (Scan Receiving Inventory, Quick Receive labels and Inventory Report
- Delivery Documentation (Shipper Report, Packing List, Bill of Lading)
- Requirements vs. Inventory Report
- Past Due / Expedites Report
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or College degree, experience in customer service and material planner
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
Excellent written and oral skills
Knowledge on the Automotive industry
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
