Per Diem Delivery Driver - Birmingham, AL Job Details Job Location *Birmingham - Hoover, AL Position Type Per Diem Soleo Health is seeking a **Delivery Driver** to support our **Birmingham, AL** area location. The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, driving, pick-ups, and deliveries.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods.
* Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials.
* Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
* Verify computations against physical count of stock.
* Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
* Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
* May drive to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate other machinery in order to complete tasks.
* Makes deliveries to patient homes.
* Makes pick-ups of equipment from patient homes.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in area of responsibility
* Experience with deliveries to customer job sites
* Valid Class C drivers license
* Must own properly registered and insured vehicle to use for deliveries
