Ink Systems, Inc. is looking for hard-working individuals with experience as an Ink Technician. The right candidate will possess good work-ethic, be highly motivated, a team player, and reliable.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Generate batch tickets for production
- Weigh, mix and Q.C. batches
- Log and track ink usage and open and close jobs at press side
- Use spectrophotometer equipment and software to QC batches vs. master wet samples
- Log and communicate information/issues to co-workers and manager
- Technical press side support
- Knowledge of ink formulations
- Ability to make accurate mathematical calculations
- Ability to distinguish colors precisely
- Knowledge of color matching
- Weigh batches of ink and process batch tickets
- Ability to mix ink
- Ability to manually lift up to 32 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. safely.
General Requirements
- 2-3 years experience with custom color matching and batch weighing PREFERRED
- Understand all safety rules and procedures.
- Must be able to perform all tasks/duties required in an appropriate time frame.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Work and communicate well with co-workers, supervisors.
- Ability to have reliable transportation back and forth to work.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand both oral and written instructions.
