**Schedules:**
Night Zero-Waste Sorter - 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (approximately)
**Position Summary Details**
The Stadium Trash Sorters are responsible for collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste generated in the stadium.
**Essential Functions**
+ Remove trash, recyclables, and compost from all areas of the stadium and site perimeter.
+ Adhere to sustainability/recycling procedures
+ The team gradually transports Stadium waste to the sorting area as they make their rounds. There will be a consistent stream of trash bags to sort throughout the assigned shift.
+ Separate items into their various streams: landfill, compostables (food/drink, food packaging, cutlery, etc.), bottles and cans, cardboard, glass, etc.
+ The sorting team must open every item within every trash bag before separating waste items into the various streams.
**Qualifications**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
+ Must have recycling and landfill experience.
+ If new hires are not sorting effectively and efficiently based on our zero-waste guidelines, they are subject to review and possible termination.
+ Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
+ Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
+ Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
+ Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
+ Reliable Transportation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Customer Service Experience
+ 1 yr of similar work experience
+ Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.
+ Bilingual (Spanish/English)
