Accurately and timely loads and delivers feed according to feed order directives. Delivers to individual customers as assigned by dispatcher. Determines and conveys needed repairs and/or preventative maintenance to fleet mechanics. Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensures timely and accurate delivery of feed according to dispatcher scheduling. Performs a pre-trip truck inspection according to a DOT sheet, reporting any deficiencies to proper fleet mechanics. Ensures the correct weight of feed is loaded into the truck and the truck and correct weight is delivered to the farm locations. Accurately operates boom to cleanly direct the feed into the holding bin assuring that feed is not spilled onto bin or ground; reports spills and problems to the Mill Manager or dispatcher. Ensures accurate recordkeeping of fuel purchases, trip tickets, daily logs and time sheets, no hold and feed pick up.
