Job Location Catering Division - St. Louis, MO Education Level None * Work cooperatively with Event Planner, Event Captain and other team members
* Assist with setting up venue
* Wash, clean, polish and ensure that all equipment is ready for use
* Utilize proper food handling techniques following health and safety standards
* May prepare food items such as sandwiches and salads
* Apportion and place food items on plate
* Plate desserts
* Attention to detail with plate presentation
* Maintain inventory control
* Remove excess food, debris and film from soiled dishes
* Operate and clean dishwasher
* Wash dishes (with or without a dishwasher)
* Clean and sanitize work station throughout shift
* Sweep and mop kitchen floor
* Assist with break down of venue
* Support servers and food runners as needed
* Demonstrate positive and professional image
* Meet all grooming and dress standards
* Dependable - come to work as scheduled
* Perform all duties in a safe and careful manner
* Other duties as assigned
* **Must be at least 17 years of age**
* **No kitchen experience needed - we will train**
* Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations
* Clean cut and professional
* No visible tattoos, body piercing or unnatural hair color
* Reliable transportation
* Customer service oriented personality
* Honest work ethics
* Ability to work in well in a team-oriented, fast paced, event driven environment
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Self motivated
* Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
* Capable to stand long hours
* Ability to follow directives
* Flexible Schedule
* **Minimum availability 2 weekend shifts per month (Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday)**
