Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency and productivity while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise operations staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate and oversee operations activities, such as production, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling
- Implement and maintain processes to optimize workflow and meet operational goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations, including OSHA standards
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise in daily operations
Skills:
- Proven experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse management
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control and tracking
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively
