Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a 1st Shift Inventory Specialist for a company that designs and supplies head protection systems for people who work in dangerous situations, such as military, law enforcement, search and rescue, and adventure sports .For immediate consideration apply today.

Summary

To oversee and record the flow of inventory throughout production to ensure that production processes are sufficiently supplied to maintain established production rates and accurate inventories.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Issue, adjust, move and relocate raw materials, WIP and finished goods (plant wide) in accordance to predetermined stock levels, work orders and production schedules
  • Operate necessary equipment to properly handle materials being received, issued, shipped or stocked
  • Participate in weekly production scheduling / inventory meeting
  • Assist purchasing by communicating needs based on: individual requests, observation, re-order points
  • Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies.
  • Identify trends and provide statistics to improve processes.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Working knowledge of inventory control practices and inventory management software
  • Experience with inventory cycle counting and corrective actions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Certifications or work experience commiserate with skills required
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word and outlook
