The patient greeter works primarily at the University of Maryland Professional Building to greet and assist arriving patients as needed and as directed. The Greeter will work as an integral part of the Professional Building lobby team and interacts with FPI practices, security, service desk, valet, and facilities in providing compassionate, respectful, and excellent care to those we serve; and other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Three to five years related experience in a health care customer service setting - specifically greeting, patient transport, concierge and/or patient/guest services preferred Knowledge of general customer service practices Ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with team members and public Ability to work in a team environment.
