This is a 100% onsite position
In this role, you will work with our clients to understand and meet their IT and help desk needs. This role requires a solid technical background across a wide range of technology solutions, including desktops, laptops, network appliances, printer serves, and Audio Visual technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as an extension of the companies' IT Help Desk, leading L1 / L2 support
- Configure and deploy end-user and office devices, including but not limited to laptops, printers, and handheld devices as an extension of the centralized Desktop Services team
- Diagnose and resolve technology problems reported by end-users in a timely manner
- Manage maintenance contracts with various vendors as an extension of the Regional IT Manager
- Create and follow IT documentation, guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures
- Serve as an extension of the centralized AV team as needed to enable Firm collaboration and conferencing
- Utilize ticketing and project management tools to efficiently manage work and track time
- Configure, install, administer, and support our partners' hardware and LAN network systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a Law Firm setting, or comparable professional services organization.
- Proven experience with common Operating Systems and software (e.g., Windows 10 and later, Microsoft Office 365 / 2021)
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Audio Visual conferencing technologies (hardware and software)
- Experience with current PC imaging standards, hardware configurations, memory configuration
- Experience with routers, switches, and other networking equipment
- Hands-on experience with remote systems such as Citrix
- College degree is strongly preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- Technical certification(s) are preferred (e.g., MCSE, Cisco CCNA).
