Adecco is assisting a local client in hiring a CAD - Technician/ Drafter in East Providence, RI to work Monday to Friday on 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at a pay range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year. CAD - Technician/ Drafter Responsibilities:Use Solid. Works CAD/ AutoCAD to detail progressive tools and dies accurately and efficiently, within specified time frames, to needed engineering specifications. Create 3 D models & 2 D engineering drawings with computer aided software (Solid. Works/ AutoCAD); and build up BOM & specification sheet (Specs). Detail diagrams, schematics, layouts, multi-view, and various drawings according to internal and/or customer needs. Prepare 2 D/3 D detailed drawings, making certain the design meets the customer part and die or machine specifications. Modify/improve products to eliminate malfunctions and obtain specified functional and operational performance.
