Seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead a service department. A successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the service operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and high-quality repairs and maintenance. The Service Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, coordinating service schedules, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
o Supervise and lead a team of service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
o Maintain strong relationships with customers, responding to inquiries and providing technical support.
o Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of work.
o Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including workflow, productivity, and quality control.
o Monitor and manage service department KPIs, including response times, repair times, and customer satisfaction scores.
o Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
o Ensure technicians are trained and knowledgeable on the latest service techniques and equipment.
o Oversee the ordering, storage, and usage of parts and supplies.
o Ensure adequate inventory levels to support service operations.
o Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and terms.
o Ensure all service activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
o Address any safety issues or violations promptly.
Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business management, or a related field is preferred.
o Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role in the service industry.
o Strong technical background and knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
o Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
o Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
