Are you a therapist licensed in MA or CT and passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ population?


Join this small private practice providing individual, couples, and family therapy to LGBTQ+ adults and teens. Therapists who are LMHCs, LPCs, LMFTS, LICSWs are encouraged to apply.


Highlights:

  • Work is fully remote and you make your own schedule.
  • This position starts as part time until you are credentialed with insurance (3-5 months after hire), then can transition to full time. Caseload varies from 5-20 clients a week for part-time positions, 25-30 clients a week for full time positions. You can determine the size of your caseload.
  • Individual and group supervision is provided weekly.
  • Opportunities to grow professionally through CEU trainings and certificates (particularly to become a AASECT certified sex therapist)
  • Potential for promotion to a supervisor role.
  • Pay is base rate of $30/hr and $48-60 commission for each session billed. Pay rate increases every year based on good performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, or family therapy to LGBTQ+ adults and teens and their allies.
  • Complete standard documentation for clients within 24 hours of the service.
  • Comply with HIPPA and professional ethical guidelines
  • Participate in weekly group supervision, individual supervision weekly during the first 3 months and biweekly supervision after that
  • Maintain license in good standing
  • Optional: provide group therapy to a specialized group of clients
  • Optional: participate in in-person team building and training events a few times a year
  • Optional: bonuses for participation in promotional work, such as writing articles for our quarterly newsletter and creating youtube videos on therapy skills.


Skills

  • Previous work using evidence-based therapy skills required.
  • Competency and desire for working with the LGBTQ+ population required
  • Experience working in individual therapy modalities required.
  • Preferred: Experience working in couples and family modalities
  • Preferred: experience working with both adults and teens
  • Preferred: training and/or experience working with sexual health and intimacy concerns
