Job Details

The Employee Relations Manager provides a resource to foster positive relations by providing consistent policy/contract/handbook interpretation and applying appropriate problem-solving skills. This person participates as required in all facets of Human Resources functions including employment and recruiting activity. This person represents the organization at meetings, hearings, and other events as appropriate. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Employee Relations Manager Skills & Responsibilities which include but are not limited to, Accountable and responsible for the interpretation of the employee handbook, collective bargaining unit agreement and policies and procedures of Human Resources and provides education to managers through individual counseling. Demonstrates competency in resolving complex issues, consensus building within the scope of their practice and expertise and when appropriate represent the organization in formal/legal settings.
