POSITION: FINANCIAL ANALYST
LOCATION: BEDFORD HEIGHTS, OH (HYBRID)
INDUSTRY: REAL ESTATE
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join a thriving real estate company located in Bedford Heights, OH. This role supports underwriting, due diligence, and various ad-hoc analyses, working closely with the acquisition, development, and finance teams. The analyst will liaise with stakeholders like title companies, due diligence firms, brokers, banks, and municipalities. Strong financial modeling skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and in teams are crucial for this position. This is a hybrid role of in-office and remote work. This company working 3 days in office, 2 days remote and has half a day on Friday's all year long!
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field required; master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum of (3) years of experience in financial analysis, investment underwriting, or real estate acquisitions, preferably within the real estate investment industry.
- Experience with Argus software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong ability to quickly perform accurate financial modeling for underwriting prospective opportunities.
- Capacity to evaluate and interpret term sheets, loan documents, and legal documents with precision.
- Fluency in real estate return metrics, waterfall modeling, and capital markets.
