Let s save them both for future generations.Welcome to a place where your ideas lead to something big.Welcome to Bosch.Job DescriptionDaily operation of powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment.Daily use of hand held RF scanner.Daily use of good judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions.Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S.Key responsibilities will include the following:Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products.Prepare parts and materials for shipments. Verify materials and quantities. Pack materials. Load trucks.Receive shipments. Unload trucks. Check shipments for completeness and damage. Record shipments and compile necessary paperwork. Move material to proper area for storage.Avoiding damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutionsAvoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation.Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard. Responsible for one's own work.2nd shift hours are 12:30pm - 9pm, includes $1.35 extra per hour for 2nd shift, base pay is $23.16/hourQualificationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Over 1 year up to and including 3 years qualifying experience in a related environment.Daily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.Valid OSHA certification of powered industrial truck such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Sit Down, etc...Proficient in English language. Read and write.Preferred QualificationsGood computer skills and keyboard proficiency.Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.Warehouse management systems such as SAP, AS400, Red Prairie, etc.Physical RequirementsUse of safe lifting techniques while lifting, moving up to 60 pounds of product in elevated and/or difficult positions.Frequent use of pulling trigger and pressing keys on hand held RF scanner.Operating powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
