Job Details

Job Summary:# Perform the duties involved in handling a variety of account inquiries from patients, responsible parties, employees or insurance companies.# Customer service representatives are expected to handle patient and payer inquiries and requests, assist with patient walk-ins and take actions related to patient account resolution.# The representative will take patient payments, set up payment arrangements and reconcile the cash drawer daily.# # Qualifications:# High School diploma or equivalent required.# # At least six months customer service experience or billing/collection experience required, medical office experience preferred.# # Must have strong conversational skills and strong analytical skills.# # Knowledge of insurance principles and practices, collection techniques, Medicare/Medicaid regulations and commercial and managed care requirements preferred.# # Must have basic office computer skills.
