Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Inventory Planner role is a strategic role charged with developing and managing inventory forecast plans for the e-commerce sales channel. This person will balance time between strategic seasonal planning and day-to-day in-season problem solving, support execution by collaborating with our fulfillment center and business teams, and prepare reporting that allows the business to make key decisions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with E-Commerce leaders to create pre-season, SKU-level inventory and sales plans that align with product rankings, merchandising strategies and top-down financial goals.
- Owns execution and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
- Responsible for adjusting inventory in Sees e-commerce platform to ensure that e-commerce out of stocks are minimized.
- Stays in lock-step with the Fulfillment Inventory Specialist who oversees movement of inventory through fulfillment warehouse.
- Highlights shortages in a timely manner with a resolution action plan.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships cross-functionally with Merchandising, Packing/Production, Planning, and Shop Operations.
- Completes special projects as assigned by management.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.

Job Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong computer skills with fluency in Excel.
- Self-motivated, organized and able to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to problem solve and re-prioritize workloads as needed.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Eagerness to be a part of a highly-collaborative group.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
- Experience with perishable food items, or with items with expiration dates, is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
