Commercial Roofing Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various types of commercial roofing systems. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' roofs remain in optimal condition, providing them with reliable protection against the elements.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections of commercial roofs to identify damage, leaks, or potential issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, sealing, and repairing roofing materials.
- Executing repairs on roofing systems including membrane roofs, metal roofs, and other types as needed.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting roof-related problems effectively.
- Documenting all work performed, including materials used and time spent, for accurate reporting and client communication.
- Collaborating with the project management team to schedule and prioritize service calls efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, and offering recommendations for roof maintenance and improvements.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Service Technician or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working at heights.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications: - Certification or training in commercial roofing systems (e.g., NRCA certification).
- Prior experience with specific types of commercial roofs (e.g., EPDM, TPO, PVC).
- Familiarity with roof inspection software or tools.
