Job Details
* Greets clients, visitors and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him/her to the appropriate location.
* Answers, screens and directs phone calls to staff; take messages and schedules appointments.
* Receives mail, documents, packages and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
* Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
* Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
* Assures that the common areas and equipment are properly maintained for comfort, convenience and safety, operating to manufacturer's specifications.
* Drives Heritage vehicle for errands, transporting, or other uses as directed.
* Participates in programs designed for in-service education, on the job training and orientation classes.
* Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel, and other departments within Heritage to meet the needs of Heritage.
* Maintains the confidentiality of all resident information, including protected health information and reports known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of said information.
* Performs other job-related duties as requested by the Executive Director and/or designee to meet the needs of the residents and the facility.
* High School degree receptionist experience preferred
* Proficient in computer skills, telephone use, and typing skills
* Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
* Must be able to answer and call out using telephone equipment.
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
* Must have a current MA Drivers License.
