**_Roles & Responsibilities:_**

_Responsible for the effective implementation of new products for multiple suppliers, as well as assisting launch aspects and verifying that manufacturing and quality control complies with all customer project requirements. Responsible for defining the project work breakdown structure, detail delivery plan, identifying resource and skill levels required to meet the delivery timescales for each customer. Drive improvements and meet customer targets._

+ _Act as primary liaison on NPI for the customer and their suppliers._

+ _Assist the effective implementation and distribution of new products for the suppliers, as well as handling launch aspects and verifying that quality control complies with all project requirements._

+ _Coordinate cross-functional global teams, including engineering, quality assurance and others_ _._

+ _Work closely with the suppliers NPI activities within their organization to define, develop and launch a new or improved product_ _._

+ _Analyze and recommend improvements to all production processes and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement._

+ _Set an overall Operational plan & applicable KPI's, Track and follow project progress, manage risk and report accordingly._

+ _Provide analytical leadership, a level of project management, technical and quality knowledge to all aspects of product analytics._

+ _Develop manufacturing plans for assigned material. Topics include raw and finished goods material planning, ramp/capacity planning, roadmap, etc._

+ _Assist the NPI methodologies, interfaces, and process within the operation matrix to ensure readiness of all major new product material._

+ _Assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures and assist with analyses and audits of processes to make recommendations on such items as safety, quality, cost, waste reductions, and efficiency._

+ _Work to identify manufacturing risks/bottlenecks and provide solutions using manufacturing methods for problem solving and driving projects._

+ _Travel with the customer to various supplier sites_

**_Required Skills (Technical Competencies):_**

+ _4+ years' experience_

+ _Aerospace engineering experience_

+ _Strong communication skills_

+ _Willingness to support others._

+ _Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills_

+ _Project management_

+ _Good organizational skills_

+ _Ability to prioritize._

+ _NPI experience._

+ _Lean/Continuous Improvement process experience essential (Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, 5S)_

+ _Ability to read and understand technical drawings._

+ _Familiar with quality operations PPAP/APQP or equivalent_

+ _Able to project manage quality aspects to NPI and Prototype manufacture._

+ _Able to optimize methods of manufacturing and layout of tooling/machines._

+ _Flexible approach to working hours when required (potential weekend travel)_

+ _Must hold a valid driving license_

**_Desired Skills:_**

+ _Vast experience in NPI_

+ _Experience in manufacturing and processes_

+ _Experience in carrying out a variety of audits_

+ _Self-motivated to ensure accountability, disciplined to improve processes, passionate about engineering, and organized to track many work streams_

+ _Excellent verbal and written communication_

+ _Organized with the ability to multi-task while driving actions to completion_

+ _Excellent communication and teamwork skills_

+ _Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint_

+ _This role will require a travel in and around North America (U.S. & Canada)_

+ _Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures_

+ _Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early_

+ _Typical 8-hour days / 40-hour weeks_

+ _Flexibility in workday/weekends to meet customer production schedule_
