SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Information Assurance Test and Evaluation Engineer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP's Tactical Production business area is currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation Specialist to join our dynamic team in Manassas, VA. The selected candidate will join a highly talented team responsible for the test, evaluation, and design verification of the system under development. While this position will mostly have regular business hours, some overtime hours and travel may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing, modifying, and executing test plans, test procedures and test reports.
  • Assembly and standup of computer equipment.
  • Ensures functional and technical specifications and standards.
  • Investigate software and hardware interface problems.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related special area/field, or equivalent.

Experience: Navy experience as a Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) or similar (ST, ET, or IT) or Surface Navy experience is required.

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Location: Manassas, VA

Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)

Clearance: Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.Aboard Vessel - Standing and walking for extended periods of time. High probability of working in confined spaces where movement is restricted; movement through narrow passageways and hatches. Significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools. Occasional lifting <40 lbs. Daily use of computers, including use of a mouse and keyboard as well as the viewing of computer screens. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, lying prone, and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in very consistent environmental conditions for temperature and lighting, HVAC Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes, safety glasses and flashlight required; hearing protection and hard hat recommended.
