SUMMARY: Assist with the scanning and preservation of BJU's archival moving and still picture assets, along with magnetic sound materials. This position is open during the 2024-25 school year and during summer 2024. (May extend longer depending on the needs of the project.)

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare materials for scanning, including 16mm film, slides, video, and magnetic sound.
- Operate the film scanner (you will be trained on this machine).
- Input metadata about the film content scanned
- Help with digitizing other historical media assets such as audio and video recordings, slides and print materials.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
- Christ-like testimony and unwavering integrity
- Good record with Student Life
- Good communication skills
- Data base management skills
- Film handling (or willingness and ability to master)
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to be productive and dependable while working independently
- Strong self-discipline and attention to detail
- Occasionally lift/carry up to and push/pull over 100 lbs.
