MATERIAL HANDLER - LIVONIA, MICHIGAN - IN-PERSON
Job Summary
Our client is looking for a material handler. This role is responsible for ensuring orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and contributing to the orderly operation of stock and material storage areas.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the cleanliness of the production area and warehouse
- Operates fork lifts or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
- Assists on pick- ups and deliveries
- Supports warehouse with shipping and receiving
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by management personnel
Requirements - Must be fluent in English.
- Must possess a valid Michigan Chauffeurs license.
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
- Must be able to lift 25 - 35 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be well groomed and able to interface with customers.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary
