Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic

Summary: The Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic will have experience working in the General Aviation community. The most qualified candidate will have extensive knowledge of piston and turboprop aircraft. The mechanic must work well in a customer-centric, team-oriented environment. The right candidate will have an aptitude to train and develop up and coming mechanics. Ebis maintenance software experience is a plus.

Job Requirements:

* Airframe and Powerplant License is required. Minimum 3 years experience preferred

* General Aviation Fixed Wing aircraft experience. (Cessna, Beechcraft, a Plus)

* Possess minimum tools and equipment

* Move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis Move up to 35 pounds on an infrequent basis

* Work from ladders or work stands

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Complete required inspections

* Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

* Proficiently troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, replace, and/or overhaul airframe and powerplant components.

* Perform 100hr/Annual, Event and Phase inspection on various types of aircraft.

* Read and use Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, routine and non-routine and other related maintenance documents

* Follow all applicable specifications and checklists

* Work with coworkers as a team or individually with minimal to no supervision

* Efficiently complete work assignments

* Other duties as assigned

* Effectively communicate with coworkers

Salary Range: $27-$32

Travel: Rare, but possible
