We offer benefits with a good chance for advancement to operator position. OT is time and a half. Must have valid driver s license.North Plains Utility Contracting is a small underground utility company that was started in 2003 and is owned by four TelCom companies, for which we do most of the construction part of their jobs. We mainly put cable in the ground for them. In addition, we do work for power, cable, water and private customers as well. Our employees do travel some in the Eastern half of ND. They drive company vehicles to and from the job sites. The hotel rooms are paid for by the company, but each employee is responsible for their own food while traveling. Our employees are always home on the weekends. Laborers do hand digging when necessary, pull cable and clean up the job site when the job is done. They also load the pickups and trucks with everything needed for the specific jobs to be done each day. The Laborers give whatever support is needed to the employees operating the equipment.
