Work Schedule

• 1st shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Employees who work on a recognized holiday are paid time and a half for hours worked on the holiday
• Weekend premium is $1.00/hr

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service, positive attitude and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to prioritize along with excellent organizational skills
• Must pass background check and drug test including test for THC

Responsibilities

• In all areas of the hospital, perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting services includingemptying trash cans, cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, floors, common areas, and changing bed linens
• Exhibit a professional demeanor and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all times
• Move furniture and other heavy objects for routine & non-routine cleaning and when assisting in patient moves
• Use equipment and supplies properly and report needed repairs or restocking to the appropriate individual
• Multitask and stick to a schedule while also responding to incidents as they occur throughout the day
