Job Summary:
This position provides specialized transportation and disposal services to our clients.
Responsibilities include manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Provide lab pack services to technical customers. Identify, segregate, package and ship hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
Responsible for ensuring the safety of team members and compliance of services provided to the customer.
Perform other projects as required by customers, including inventory support, lab moves, on-site services, unknown characterization, high-hazard support, etc.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or related science discipline preferred
Experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech / heavy industrial industry a plus
Certification/Licenses:
40-hour HAZWOPER Certification
Valid Drivers License
Ability to obtain a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazardous (H) endorsement
