Engineering Assistant needed in Chambersburg, PA
Payrates from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our engineering staff in various projects and tasks, helping to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.Responsibilities: - Assist engineers with project planning, design, and implementation - Conduct research, gather data, and perform calculations as needed - Prepare and maintain project documentation - Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges - Perform quality control checks on project deliverables - Support field work and site visits as requiredRequirements: - Strong technical skills and familiarity with engineering software/tools- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Strong communication and organizational skills - Prior experience in an engineering role or internship is a plus
