This technology aims to bridge the connectivity gap for the billions of people worldwide who are currently without reliable cellular coverage.
They are looking for an Electronics Technician to join their team in Texas to work on components such as antennas and frequency converters. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using test instruments such as spectrum analyzers. Responsibilities include maintaining an inventory of equipment, conducting integration and testing of components, and providing remote support. Strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage inventory of satellite gateway equipment and components.
- Understand and troubleshoot components such as antennas, frequency converters, and related hardware.
- Utilize test instruments like spectrum analyzers for diagnostic and testing purposes.
- Conduct integration and testing to ensure optimal performance.
- Addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth operations.
- Travel to customer sites
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using test instruments like spectrum analyzers.
- Strong understanding of satellite gateway technology and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage equipment inventory efficiently.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident/green card holder.
